Movie fans are investing in Michael Douglas and Oliver Stone’s “Wall
Street” sequel. “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” debuted as the No.
1 weekend movie with $19 million, leading a crop of so-so to weak
newcomers. The sequel to 1987’s “Wall Street” sequel reunites
director Stone and Douglas, who reprises his role as investment
shark Gordon Gekko. The movie co-stars Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan
and Josh Brolin in a tale set amid the 2008 economic meltdown.
